I have the OEM factory windsheild on my 07 Ultra Classic. The problem is I'm 5'7 and I'm looking through the windshield instead over the top. At night it's alright but kind of hazy. One of the dealers at a local shop that I got the bike from showed me his windshield on his Ultra limited and I think it was a Korks or kerks. I really liked it because I can see right over the top of windshield. Well, i guess I'm looking at suggestions from you guys and Lady's on which are good windshields. I did some youtube research on the Kerks or Korks windshield and there were a lot of people that didn't like them because the wind still bobbled their heads. But they probably didn't have the right height on the windshield. I want something the deflect the wind out from my head while still looking over the top of the windshield
On the topic of tinted vs. clear, my own experience is the dark tint on any shield becomes nearly completely an obstruction to view through after dark.
I prefer the light tint, able to see over option. Long Ride Shields has great products.

I'm 5'8", and was looking through the stock shield on my limited. I went to a 7" LRS ultra, and it puts the turbulent airflow just barely over the top of my helmet. I could probably go one inch taller on the shield and still look over it comfortably, but I like the extra margin at night (shield is dark tint).
My wife is 5'7", but more of her height is in her torso, so her head is relatively higher than mine on the bike - she doesn't hate the short shield, but she's in the turbulent flow some. Probably end up getting a 9" flat top or elite if we can find time to take a long bike trip together.

Another vote for LRS - www.longrideshields.com here. Get the Ultra Elite and you'll be happy.
Yup, ^^^^^^^^^^ got one very nice.
