Default Yaffe Monkey Bars - Actual Height

I'm looking at doing a set of Monkey bars on a Road Glide and am wondering if the height they advertise is true. I've been told they measure a bit taller than advertised. I'm leaving toward a 12" but I only run a 10" on my Street Glide (I know they are different bars) and was just looking for some feedback from those that are running them.

Thanks!

They run taller than most, my 12's are like everyone else's 14's.

Thanks!! That's what I was told. I'm wondering if the bars for a Road Glide will be the same as the bagger bar in regards to the height disparity. At only 5'7" I'm leaning toward the 10's.

That's exactly where I want mine to be. That's where mine are on my Street Glide with 10" bars from Wild One.

My 12" yaffe bars seem to be a little higher than my buddies 12" KST mayhem bars, & his bars are the reason I went with 12's instead of 10's.

I'm not sure where Paul Yaffe learned how to measure, but my 10" MBB are not 10"......they measure closer to 12". I don't understand his measuring philosophy but I am glad I didn't go any higher. One of my favorite mods to my SG.

thank you, the main reason I went with Yaffe instead of the KST's is because the Yaffe's are chrome & the KST's are polished & in my past experience chrome is easier to maintain
