Default 2000 flhtcui passing lamps

Saw a few posts in here and wondered the easiest way to rewire the passing lamp where they always stay on . Can it be done by removing the batwing. I have the diagram that shows the circuit mod -cutting the yellow wire form the headlight connector and splicing it to orange/ red wire,( acc switch) . I do not want the buy the adapter but was wondering if the red/ orange wire is accessible under the bAtwing (fairing) Thanks TR

Hey Mike, I was looking at mine the other day, there's more than one orange wire. Which on do you tap?

you can hook the wires with your little finger - leaving the fairing etc in place. there is a soft metal clap/hook which keeps them in place

then push the wires back up onto the hook when you are done
