If you wipe anything make sure what kind of rag you are using. Pig Spit works a little better that HD engine bright or S100 IMO.
Wash it let it dry on a cool engine lightly mist it let t sit a while and go. It may get a little better after a few times . But don't go out there and soak it down. Light mist.
This bike is 21 years old and been misted with Pig Spit from time to time most of it's life still looks almost good as new. And yes it had been ridden a lot even if it is the other bike.

I tried it and hated it. Found something that works great, my 2000 is nice and black. Stop by a Honda dealer when no one is looking and get a can of "Honda Polish" they market it as a roadside detailer. Spray on then wipe the chrome down, it soaks into black and stays for a long time. Mike

I use s100 a few times a year. Wash the bike, scrub off any heavy scum on the motor, dry, then hit it with the s100. Make sure you wipe the chrome off right away. I always try to use it BEFORE I need it, that way nothing has a chance to bake on or build up. Don't be scared to give it a second coat if you need it...

Has anyone ever tried "Gunk Engine Cleaner Degreaser"? They have two types, I'm thinking about the regular type not the foamy style.
