I'm with you on this mentality. Of course when you are looking at an investment of over half a years salary warranty is critical. I'm going to throw 25 grand cash at 4 local dealers for and OTD for a 2016 RGU and see if they bite or send me away. In that case i will get me a barely ridden 2015 for right at 20k easy. i win either way. Thanks for your reply.

How does HD charge $435 freight cost from Milwaukee to Ohio? Dealers actually try to charge near MSRP on new 2015s unfortunately. I can score a 2015 SGS for with under 2000 miles right now for around 18k. I can't justify a tour pack costing 2k let alone 7k more . I should be able to score a RGU OTD for sticker price and the dealer would still make a good profit. Thanks for your reply.
That is very true if the dealer will come down some will and some will not. I tried 3 dealers in 100 mile radius and got one (the one i bought from) come down 800 bucks off MSRP. It all depends on the area and how bad they want to sell an bike.

I just bought a new 2016 Road Glide Ultra. The only other year they were made was 2013. You really need to get your "bank" to release another couple thousand for the FLTRU.

I managed a 2015 RGS in June of last year for 22.5K OTD. Made it an Ultra (TP, Lowers, New Seat) for under 26K. It can be done.

All you guys suggesting 'Last Years Model' - there was no Road Glide Ultra in 2015.

You forgot the twin cooled engine, the rear speakers & wiring, and the higher bars.

I'm guessing that your in Ohio, if your in the Dayton area try Piqua HD(formally Gover ) or Buckminn's in Xenia. Also give the dealers in the Cincinnati area a try, no limit yourself to your local dealers only. It may be well worth it to travel outside of your area.

$25K OTD for a stock RGU, I would think someone in Ohio would bite at that, especially this time of year and the last day of the month (think quota).

Just got an email from a member whose friend just bought a 2016 RGU for 21k and some change at a Ft Lauderdale Harley Dealership. I'll be happy if i can get an OTD price of under sticker. I will also have probably a 3000-3500 trade in value as well. My plan is to have it in the garage before the first of April. Thanks again for the replies.
