25k Budget

There are some great one year old bikes out there for sale with extremely low miles( around 5000). Look at one of these and if warranty is important, you can buy an extended warranty. Going this route should allow you to come in at your budget with the ESP. Without the ESP, you should come in under budget.

Dealer mark up is around 5k on new bikes. I have 4 dealerships within 30 miles of me. I can ship a 1200 pound skid from Ohio to California on Fed Ex Economy freight for right at $105.00. How does HD charge $435 freight cost from Milwaukee to Ohio? Dealers actually try to charge near MSRP on new 2015s unfortunately. I can score a 2015 SGS for with under 2000 miles right now for around 18k. I can't justify a tour pack costing 2k let alone 7k more . I should be able to score a RGU OTD for sticker price and the dealer would still make a good profit. Thanks for your reply.

Just got an email from a member whose friend just bought a 2016 RGU for 21k and some change at a Ft Lauderdale Harley Dealership. I'll be happy if i can get an OTD price of under sticker. I will also have probably a 3000-3500 trade in value as well. My plan is to have it in the garage before the first of April. Thanks again for the replies.
