Suburban Harley Davidson by Milwaukee WI has the best deals on barely used bikes. Depending on where you live, it might even be cheaper to buy from them and have it shipped to you. Or better yet, fly in and drive one home.

The problem is you will want a bunch of goodies also. I wont tell you how much money I put into my bike the first six months. In hind sight I should have bought one a couple years that already had some upgrades.

If you shop right you should take a RGU 2016 home for that. But if you start adding stuff no. You may really like the 2016 RGU so should your wife . No trade helps a lot right now.
2016 RGU does not need anything off the floor fine as is.

The 2016 RGU msrp is more than 25k plus all the fees. Like others have said you may want to look at a leftover 2015 EGU.

30k for a 2 wheeler i can't ride year round.? I'd have a big problem spending that for a new cage. There isn't a stock bike on the road worth 30k. You could find a great garage queen and decent boat for that price.

List price for a2016 Road Glide Ultra in Vivid Black $ 25,699 plus $495 freight.

Less for a used 2013 Road Glide Ultra, and they may give you an extended warrant if
that eases the wife's mind. If you can get a never sold 2015 Road Glide Custom standard,
more than likely out the door under the $25,000.oo mark.

With all due respect and lots of time people just BS when it comes to "Have to ask the wife"

However, if that is ever truly the case that we 'Have' to ask the wife ????

and as far as Cash or not cash - telling them... Any buyers needs to know the market and know what is a good price or not... Walking into a dealer and NOT know these numbers - is all a crap shoot... what ever price you get,,, payments or cash - if you do not know FIRST - how do you know if its a fair/good deal or not??

Dealer mark up is around 5k on new bikes. I have 4 dealerships within 30 miles of me. I can ship a 1200 pound skid from Ohio to California on Fed Ex Economy freight for right at $105.00. How does HD charge $435 freight cost from Milwaukee to Ohio? Dealers actually try to charge near MSRP on new 2015s unfortunately. I can score a 2015 SGS for with under 2000 miles right now for around 18k. I can't justify a tour pack costing 2k let alone 7k more . I should be able to score a RGU OTD for sticker price and the dealer would still make a good profit. Thanks for your reply.

There are some great one year old bikes out there for sale with extremely low miles( around 5000). Look at one of these and if warranty is important, you can buy an extended warranty. Going this route should allow you to come in at your budget with the ESP. Without the ESP, you should come in under budget.

I've had cash in hand for the past 3 years to buy any non CVO model the MOCO makes. Actually i could buy a CVO but am unwilling to let go of my hard earned cash as much as i do love riding. Personally speaking i don't think there is a motorcycle on the road worth 20k let alone 25 plus. I don't finance cars or cages as i refuse to pay interest on any vehicle. As to ask the wife i've been married 28 years and all financial investments are with two votes of thumbs up. My reality is knowing what the dealer pays for a new bike and what they try to sell them for. Think i'll shoot and email out the 4 local dealers with my cash in hand 25k OTD offer on a RGU and i'm sure one of them will bite. Thanks for hour reply.
