Default Road King Purchase

Hey Guys,

I'm in the market for a road king and trying my best to get a good deal. Well, more like a great deal. Guys please provide some feedback on my current offer.

Thanks

I just closed a deal on a Street Glide. I wasn't able to get them to budge much on the price of the bike, but did get them to give me above NADA Book retail on my trade and discount the parts I purchased with it. Not sure if that helps.

I think you can do better. They are giving you fair allowance for your trade, but full retail on the King.

Try another dealer and see if they will do the same on your trade and lower the price on the King.

Also shop for your loan at local banks and credit unions.

Bottom line, that is not even a good deal, just...................ok?

I think you should sanitize that Bill of Safe instead of posting your full name, phone number, and loan number on a public forum.

As for the purchase of the Road King, I think you'll find a better deal if you shop it around. It's still deep into winter and bikes aren't selling quite as easily as when spring hits.

Shop around, it can't hurt. Even though you are probably anxious to get it, patience will pay off.

Tried to swap out the attachment, but looks like the forum prevents you from doing so. The loan isn't through harley, so not sure if the loan number matters.

Try to pin dealers against each other as well.

So, what is a good deal on this bike? Oh, I forgot to mention options, NO ABS, but it does have the security package.

Can try a different dealer. But also have to add in drive time and cost just to get a better deal. All things to consider. I bought used because it had 1717 miles, first service done and a couple upgrades I didn't pay for. Like I said they are all things to consider.

Thanks Jaystn62, I appreciate all of your guys' insight. So should I ask for a grand off or more than that or what?
