I personally use the internet to search HD dealers within a certain radius and their inventory. Get them working against each other on quotes. Some are direct competitors and might take a loss to create new business. If they ask where you got your last quote tell them but have documentation to back it up. It all can be done online and phone.

Do you owe money on your old bike? That's the way it looks. You owe 7 thousand and they are giving you 8,300 for it..?? With the difference goong towards your down payment...

I would have them throw in the first two/ three services.....it doesn't cost them anything but mechanic time...

After you shopped around for a better price.

That bike would be titled as used. I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't ask for an opinion on HDF. People always say you could do better, but they don't tell you how, or where.

Your dealer price is OK. Stick with the price by asking them to throw in ESP Warranty and some accessories you longed for. And/or pit them with other dealer's price matchin' battle.

You need to be aggressive on your part and don't let them walk all over you.

Is there an issue with a bike being titled as used? Not sure if I will lose warranty or something please elaborate on your comment. One thing that did throw me off is the fact that this bike does not have a windshield! I just got off the phone with the guy and he tells me that it does have the hardware which is even more weird? Has it been down? Because of the great price of this bike I could keep my current bike and buy this one which is very appealing.
