It doesn't do a thing for me.

I like the concept, but the execution is lacking. The screw head being exposed doesn't work for me, and the lack of color doesn't either. You've got a good idea, it just needs some refinement.

Just like everyone else has mentioned, great start but needs to be worked. At a distance the medallion looks like a blank white object screwed to the back of your bike. I would screw and glue from the back so that the screw is not visible, or print the medallion and bracket as one piece. Instead of round, make it the shield or eagle, and paint that bad larry and you might have something. Keep at it, I like where you started

Nylon is not platable. Like the other poster mentioned you can use a copper based paint and then plate that. I have done that in the past for faucet parts. Certain ABS's are platable.

The sky is the limit with those printers. Painted up that badge will look great.

If you could print a high performance cam I'd really be impressed.

IMHO I think you've done a great job making it yourself! If it were me, and I know it's not, I would make the medallion a little smaller and center it on the mounting bracket or make the bracket and medallion on part. Of course put some color on it so it is recognizable from a distance. Again, great work!

Meh.... If your tank medallions looked like that it would make more sense - try making one that looks like the ones on your bike. The shape would flow better with the sissy bar, too.

A flat head stainless screw would be a start. Maybe tie your bike's color into the logo. Chrome would not hurt either. I agree with other posters. It needs to look like it is designed for the bike, not a cheap add-on.
