Does anyone have any experience with any after market primary output shaft bearing for the 08-newer that can give a review good or bad on their experience. Or have any recommendations on improving the stock design or quality of the bearing, an extra oil bore,brand of bearing etc. I have an All ***** kit ordered but read about their failures also. Bike is basically stock RK with 60K miles , if not I guess if I get another 50k out of another stock one it will get me to a rebuild, just looking to improve or prevent a premature failure. I believe a member on here "Eunotrpsia" found a one piece bearing for 07 later and installed one recently. You may want to pm him on his review.

 

I'd just chalk it up to bad luck on that one. My 08 went 112,000 miles and was still running ok when I had it rebuilt. Only bearing failures were the cheap one's in the front wheel and the transmission input bearing I am guessing was caused by too tight of drive belt after a rear tire change. Bearing in the rear pulley was bad but wasn't found until the rebuild. All others were fine but replaced for piece of mind at the rebuild.
