Opinion on extended bags...
Well, after measuring and comparing these aftermarket bags, they just don't look right IMO. They are too long, single cut on a full dresser just doesn't look right. Wanted to go with a 2-1 exhaust system but after debating this for a bit, taking pictures and getting a few different opinions from my biker friends and wife I have decided to return these bags and get a dual cut bags and get them in 4.0 length instead of what I received. Posted some pictures as well, it just doesn't look right to have an empty space on the left side back to the drawing board...
Also, I need a good recommendation for a full dual exhaust system, looking into the V&H line up, and lastly... I'm going to remove a few parts of my RGS to get them powder coated, shiny black derby cover, outer primary, horn, ape hangers, front forks, and I can't think of what else I need... What will look better, a black exhaust or chrome? Not too crazy about the bling bling look, want to combine a nice flow of chrome, black and sunglow red.. Thoughts?

To me the bag length looks fine. It's the stock fender in my opinion that makes it look incomplete.

I agree, I've seen baggers with the 2-1 and stretched bags. They look good, but the fender is designed to match the bags also with a single exhaust outlet. Even though you got the bags for a single exhaust, your fascia has the exhaust cutout. Look online, I believe they make a extended fascia and you can get it with or without cutouts. Good luck

Than you Sir, IMO the stock fender with these aftermarket bags just don't look complete, it doesn't offer a good complement but maybe because I am **** and I want my Harley to look good. I just can't settle for a mediocre looking modification if you know what I mean..

Extended fascia? I will look into it, the issue again is that the bags are a tad bit too long, they don't match the fender line or look even when you look at the bike from the rear... I'm assuming these "extended fascia" are aftermarket? Thanks again brother~

I debated back and forth on extended bags for my King and ordered CVO style ABS plastic ones from Eastern Performance. The price was great and my painter has complimented the finish and quality. Leaving the stock fender and lights for now but will eventually upgrade to SG style lights and a modified fender.
