I debated back and forth on extended bags for my King and ordered CVO style ABS plastic ones from Eastern Performance. The price was great and my painter has complimented the finish and quality. Leaving the stock fender and lights for now but will eventually upgrade to SG style lights and a modified fender.
I screwed up by not doing my homework correctly, spent money on bags that in my opinion don't look right due to the fact that I will need to get an extended fender to compliment the look. My buddy has the OEM CVO bags on his Glide with dual exhaust and it just "LOOKS RIGHT" imo... The only thing is that he spent $1300+ for his bags from Harley, painted of course to oem color but $1300!!!! ouch!
IMO you cant do extended bags on a stock fender. It just looks weird. It's all or nothing. I just ordered a set of topshop bags and fender. It was pricey but the quality is great and the matching look is worth it.

Yes, indeed. I tried to do shortcuts and ended up not happy. But, live and learn and improve. Stay safe as you perform you're duties as a FF in NYC brother..

I am also getting the front lower fairings too~
Yeah that's crazy. I spent $400 or so for bags, lids, and hardware. Should have the bike back soon with it all painted.
