I generally see them the other way. Chrome outer and color matched trim ring. The trim rings are easy to come by and you can practice spraying them at home. If you don't like it change it back. The idea of adding some color is a nice touch. You can also do the cam cover insert and the horn cover.

Yep - But then I switched back to all chrome.

I think the color ring is a better look. Like the saying less is more!

MoCo sells these parts already painted in stock colors, and if memory serves me, they weren't all that expensive. I thought about doing it, still undecided.
