Still here, Bryan, but have been out of town a few days visiting my folks in Louisiana. My dad's health is failing somewhat, so had to go check up on him.

You know, you sort of get addicted to the forums here. Really felt like I was missing something not being able to check in daily, but I'm back now.

Bike's still doing great, so I think the new PCIII did the trick for me.

Well, iclick, I was born and raised in Monroe, but after I graduated from La Tech and went in the service, my folks moved a few miles west to the metropolis of Calhoun, La, and that's where they be today. Nice quiet place, and they really like it.

Glad to hear from you. Was getting a little worried. So sorry to hear about Pops. I haven't seen my Mom or Dad since they moved to AZ over 3 years ago. [:@]Glad to hear the bikes running great. I'll stop in and see you if I ride out to see my folks in AZ.

Man, that would be an awesome trip for you to ride to AZ. We drove through there a few months ago on our drive back from LA (not Louisiana) in a cage. Fantastic scenery in AZ.

It'd be great to have you stop by if we're on the way! Just let me know if and when.

Sounds great. Do you know what mpg you're getting?
Now I really ran it hard yesterday after putting on the Bassani Road Rage pipe but checked the MPG today. A lot of highway mileswitha fewfull throttle, down the on ramp blasts in the 90-110 MPH range. 39MPG.

I haven't had much chance to check yet, but think I'm getting around 37 mpg. At least that's what I got out of the last tank. I've got a large w/s on my bike and need to get a 5-inch. That might help cut down on wind resistance and up the mpg a little. Bike sure runs good, though.

90 to 110 mph down the on ramp? Man, have you been eating your Wheaties for breakfast or something? 80 to 85 mph is a good cruising speed for me -- bike seems to plane out at that speed, but I normally run 70 to 75 to/from work.

Well I just wanted to run through the gears and see what the new pipe did for me. I held her wide open andjust shifted at 6000-6200RPM. Let me tell you thatthe S&S 510 G'saremore evident now. That 2-1 pipe really woke my bike up, and then some.

Taterdog, glad you got your bike fixed. Now you know what to do in a year when your PC goes bad again. Good luck.
