Man!!! I put a 8 inch windshield on for winter. than put back the 4 inch windshield and MAN!!![:@]

I couldn't hear the radio ! all I heard was the WIND! wind buffeting my helmet. I couldn't believe the difference it makes! I put back the 8 inch windshield.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Yeah, that 4" deflector looks cool, butit's worthless. I'm using an 8" smoked with a recurve. It's a decent compromise of looks and utility.

Yeah, the 4 inch is completely worthless. I've got a 9 inch on there now, but I might try a 6 inch for summer.

Good to hear these things.... I wanted to put on an opaque 4" black shield on my Ultra ...... I think I'll look around for 6"-8" and go with as dark smoke as possible. that stock shield is just a bit 2 big in the summer.

I don't mind the wind from the 4". I rode without a windshield for most of my life. I like the wind blocked off the body by the fairing and the lowers and enjoy the air in my face. Kinda like a dog hanging out the window of a pickup...

On my 07 Ultra, I use a 8" smoked recurve. On trips I use a 14" clear for max comfort
