Default Grips

Doing new bars for the first time and I ordered Arlen Ness grips. Never done these, but it looks like the clutch side will have to be glued on. Seen others that clip in under the switch packs. Anyone done the Ness grips? Part number shows it is correct for 15 FLHX, but just making sure I got the right parts.

I don't have AN grips, but my Kury's went on the same. I used double sided tape that I use on my golf club grips. You need to secure it somehow so they don't slide or spin on you. My local stealer had glue for grips....

They did come with the glue. I was just checking if that was correct. Watched a good video on bar install and the Avon grips he used went on clamped under the switch pack on both sides. Thanks for the reply. Guess I am using the right grips.

I put Ness Deep Cut grips on my '12 SG. Unlike other grips that had a lock collar, the AN grips DO need to be glued on. Install was fairly easy for this mechanical novice.

Thanks guys. Looks like I do have the right parts for this project. Will begin suffering through the Monkey bar install next week.
