Default Vegas Parking

We will be making a trip to Vegas this summer on our new Ultra Limited. Im curious about the parking at the big casino's. Do your self park, do they have motorcycle parking or can you park in valet parking?

A few I went to had self park, dedicated MC spots. We would pull up to check in driveway and unload gear onto bellboy cart, then park bikes. After check in, bellboy brings up gear.

If you know where you are staying, call ahead.

In 2003 when I first rode out there, me and the guys I were with stayed at the Sahara and they gave us a nice spot in the valet parking deck area that we could come and go from. They were very bike friendly but sadly, the Sahara is just a memory now.

Last time I rode out there, in 2008, me and my brother stayed at the Best Western just off the Strip and got to park literally outside our room door. It was awesome, as was the hotel. It was nothing like a regular Best Western as it had a large pool, a restaurant, a great bar also with machines at the bar and a small casino area. The room was more like a small suite and opened right on the parking lot with our bikes about 5 feet from the door. Made things so nice when you went to take off in the morning as you could load up the bike at leisure and not have to worry about lugging tons of crap with you, hoping you didn't forget something and had to go back up to the 10th floor to get your sunglasses or whatever. The hotel treated us great and really bent over backwards to make sure we had a great room with parking lot access for our bikes.

Caesars lets us park in valet just down the ramp from the main entrance, right by the fountains, several times a year.

Traditionally Vegas parking has been plentiful, easy to access, and free. But in the near future MGM Resorts is going to be charging for parking at its hotels... the end may be near, but for now you should find it enjoyable.
