If you want to give money away, find a local charity and give them $1500.

Like all extended warranties it's almost always a total waste of money. For everyone that ever uses it on anything that youpurchase onefor, 100 never do. It's great money maker for all the stores and dealers who sell them, and everybody sells them on almost everything but sh*t wipe. Also remember you have until your regular 2 year warranty is up to still purchase it. At least that's how it was when I bought my '06 RK.

I just bought a 2 yr unlimited mileage warranty thru my local HD stealer. $644.00, covers everything except "wear" items (tires, brakes, clutch, ,etc). Hopefully the extra $$ doesn't **** off the wife. Then again, she doesn't know about the 02 Ultra that came with that warranty either (for an extra fee).

Exactly, if you don't have a good tool box in the garage, with manuals, then piece of mind is priceless. Statistics are in favor of the warranty company. Or they wouldn't be in business.

When I bought my Road Glide last December I put an extra 7K into it. Since it was delivered with all the extras they are all covered under the extended warranty. Also I do about 20K miles per year. To me the warranty is well worth it and if I never use it the money is well spent. Now I'll start on my engine mods so I can void the whole thing.

I purchased a 2007 Egc, bought the 7 year waranty and the three year sevice plan. The service plan has NO milage limits. For me this works. At my current rate I'll have almost 140K on the bike before the warranty is up and we have taken no long trips. Waiting to get comfort mods done first.
Like all the others have said it's a personal thing, for me it was money well spent, since the the service plan covered tire changes. My .02 worth.

Just like health insurance or car insurance - as long as you don't need it - Its a waste of $$$$$$

However, if you need it - your thankful

Bottom line - how much of a gambler are ya???
