204's are one of the better cams that Competion Cams produced for HD.
We've worked with them in several 98" engines and a couple 103's.
Certainly not a dud.

I had problems with the PC module itself. It's a good product, but as with anything else, it's also something that can have problems. I like the fact that the powervision is a flash tuner. The PC is a piggyback tuner that's always attached to the bike. Powervision is attach, flash and back on the work bench.

I checked with Fuel Moto about the Power Vision and they do not have a base map for the SE 204 cams being they do not sell them. They have a map that would be close for a "Woods" cam but nothing "spot on" for the SE - 204. So I am now a little confused if these SE 204 cams are this popular why a map isn't available for them?

I would think that there are maps for a 204 available, just not from fuel moto. They don't sell nor install harley cams, so they wouldn't have any maps for them. Many post on here talk of success using auto tune features if you have a tuner with that capability.

Anyone have any opinions on the Thunder Max W/Auto tune? I downloaded the software for this setup, but I didn't see any maps in this software for the Se -204 either.
Would I just load a base map that is closed and then run the Auto tune and update???

Default Pic of Dyno tune

Here is a pic of my Dyno tune with se-204 cams with 1.7 rocker arms
Think your best bet is a Dyno tune instead of auto tuner ,not agianst auto tune.but a good tune on Dyno will let you know that you got all you can out of it.
The way I look at it,if I am spending money on cam don't shortchanged yourself by not getting all you can out of the cam you put in.

If you check out the HD site, you'll see there is a download available for use with the SEST.

http://prosupertuner.harley-davidson...uperTuner.aspx

As stated above, I didn't do my own tune but the presence of this download would indicate you can if you want to. Unfortunately, you need a code from the SEST you purchase in order to access the download so like "Obamacare", you have to buy the deal to see whats in it . Maybe someone with SEST tuning savvy can impart some further insight. The SEST does contain the SE 204 tune.

Oh, the download, near as I can see, only works on Windoze.

I bought my PV from Fuelmoto for my '12 Limited. When I added my '03 Heritage to the PV, I wanted to dial in the tune. With no O2 sensors, I needed a good map.

Jaime didn't have a map for my build (95 kit w/HD203 cams) and he gave me a contact at DynoJet.

The DynoJet tech fixed me right up!

If you have a PV and FM can't help, don't forget to contact DynoJet, they know a little about this tuner and have some experience tuning too....

I bought my Powervision from Fuelmoto and the download they gave me for my SE204 cams works great, no issues whatsoever.
