I'm glad to hear what they had to say about 2-into-1 exhaust systems and the dyno sheets on their website confirms the results, as well as what you have so eloquently written in your post. I haven't had my bike dyno'ed yet, but my butt dyno tells me 2-into1 definitely makes a noticeable difference in performance. Great write up!

Had a Kerker 2-1 on my old softail made pretty good power.
If you like the fishtail look better which I think you probably do, you may want to look at different head pipes? I had a stock non cat 2-1-2 head pipe in my current glide and changed it out for a rinehart slim line dual head pipe and I did not have it dyno-ed but by the seat of the pants dyno felt at least a 10% increase.
So that may be an option to consider if you want to go back to the fishtails, but for as much gain as you got w/the 2-1 it might be hard to duplicate.

Great write up... I too had a great experience with the Folks at Fuel Moto, these guys certainly know their stuff and go above and beyond with costumer support and satisfaction. When taking my bike to them for work, I had been running 4" jackpots with quiet baffle, both Bob and Jamie were right up front that with the quiet baffle I would choke my build and not get the numbers. Bob and I talked and he cautioned me that removing the baffle and running the 4" Jackpots with my increased Compression on the 110 motor it was going to be loud, very loud. I was like you, not in the spot to be putting more money out, but seriously not wanting a bike that after a couple hour ride having ears ringing and not hearing. (I mean it is a touring bike, not a bar hopper...) Both Jamie and Bob showed me the ESeries exhaust and told me I would be extremely impressed with both the sound and the tune when completed, they were so correct.
As noted by the OP and others, these guys are top notch, I recommend them to all and would not hesitate to take future bikes to them..

Was a 2000 so that stock is an 88 CI Then most of us changed them to the 95 kit. I then a few years later tore mine down to the cases and put the 4 3/8 crank in and made mine a 104 (103 at .10 thou over as HD sent me wrong pistons) . I am assuming he was hot rodding a 95 (or perhaps an original 88) and boring to 98. Therefore , over sized pistons and the top end must be disassembled ?
