Default Black front fender?

In regards to the Road King...

I picked up a black front fender at the swap meet, $40, thought that was a pretty good deal. Planning on going with chrome forks, and a black fender.

You guys think that will look ok, with the white inset on the tank? Or, should I paint the sides of the fender white?

What color is the rear fender? Mismatched front/rear fenders might look unusual.

Agreed. Who cares what others think. It's your scoot. Make it yours.

Well, the rear fender is white; planning on changing that to black also.

Leave the "flats" on the sides of the fenders white and paint the center black.

This is what I'd do. Match the fenders to the tank.

I get the "make-it-yours" idea, just trying to get some input/ideas.

Came across these two pics. I like the idea of painting the sides of the fender white. Maybe do a similar inset, or a flame-type of scheme?
