Default Can anybody help with heated grips install

I just got my heated grips for my 2011 ultra in the mail HD (56100034) and looked at the instructions and I can't understand them. Thinking of calling the dealer tomorrow but I know they'll give me the "Bro" discount ( Bend Right Over). Is it really that hard to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom

I've installed heated grips on two different bikes. It's really not that hard... taking the plunge is the hardest part.

Read a lot, take your time. There are some videos out there if you dig around.

I don't know if there were any changes for the 2011 models, but I wrote this up when I did it on my 2009 Ultra:

Thanks for the help and advice guys.I forgot to mention that I have an extended warranty so I decided to just take it to a dealership as to not void the warranty. Thanks again, Tom

I know you took it to the deal already but for others... I did mine recently and it was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. Seems that most people get worked up with running the wires through the handlebars... all I did was get apiece of twine, and just blow it through with an air compressor. Tied the wire to the twine and pulled it through.
