Ohlin Shock Boot?
#5
All shocks should be kept clean for longevity. I've had my Ohlins for several years now and wash them occasionally, with no problems. I have no intention of putting covers on them. When riding in rain there must be a real storm going on between the bags, with spray coming off the road. I doubt if any cover will be waterproof enough to keep that out, as for dust that can be washed off easily enough. I don't use a pressure washer, which could possibly do them harm, around the seals.

How many miles on your Ohlins? How often do you have them serviced?

I have seen covers on shocks mostly 4x4s off roading they just wrap around
and attach with Velcro, made out of the same material the air filter socks are made out of. if you air filter still breaths with covers on it I would think your shocks would get air also.
