Baker Compensator
#21
My 2012 SG has 6000 miles on the Baker comp. No complaints yet, run great. I' m sure mine is the questionable spring. I would put back a Baker's comp if had too. I use to bitch about chain slap or power on and off when feathering the clutch in 1st gear. Like turning left slow in parking lot. That's gone. I think it is Baker's smaller ramps on their compensator. This is big plus for me. I wounder if anyone else has notice this.

I paid full price and still got a crap spring! I guess they just left crap springs in whatever they had left on the shelf and sent them out. It since has been removed and a new SE is back in until Baker gets their stuff together. Not a happy camper with the fluids, gaskets and labor they were not willing to pay for.
I am going to wait until the SE goes out again, which it will, it's just a matter of time...then I will give Baker another shot. But....If I'm paying full price, I want the latest and greatest version, not a frickin' leftover like last time!!

If you are not having issues I would not worry about it, not all the springs were bad. If you do have issues we will be happy to replace it.

They all come with a warranty, and so far zero issues with new springs.
