The price did increase, we changed spring manufactures and got a spring more to our liking but it ended up being more expensive. You get what you pay for. Sorry no discount on the compensators.

I paid full price and still got a crap spring! I guess they just left crap springs in whatever they had left on the shelf and sent them out. It since has been removed and a new SE is back in until Baker gets their stuff together. Not a happy camper with the fluids, gaskets and labor they were not willing to pay for.

I am going to wait until the SE goes out again, which it will, it's just a matter of time...then I will give Baker another shot. But....If I'm paying full price, I want the latest and greatest version, not a frickin' leftover like last time!!

Are you offering the updated spring to swap for an older style? Or separately? I have a unit that likely has the older spring and I want to be sure it is the best that it can be when I go to install this winter.

Is there still a long wait for them?

How long have the new springs been out and have they proven to be reliable? Hate for my bike to be a test mule. Are you guaranteed the new spring packs? I guess these questions would be for Mark.(Or anyone who knows the answer.)

Yes the price is higher than the SE but ive gone through 5 SE units and now have the Baker unit. If I had not gone with the Baker unit I would need another SE unit down the road so IMO the Baker price is justified. Im sure they will stand behind this product as they do with everything they make. Worth the money for a USA made product as well!
