First off, the ride is a 2009 Road King Classic with standard cruise control. I'm planning to change out my switch housings and caps to chrome, and the kit listed is 70228-96C, and 71808-03 for the chrome caps. The pics on the Harley site show an extra hole on the left and right housing. Do any of you know if this switch housing kit has extra holes for audio or something that have to be plugged? Thanks.

 

Your RKC should have the original caps/plugs that fill those unused openings. You'll just re-use them, although they won't be chrome.

I think I ran into the same issue when I replaced the Switch housing on my '05 RKC - I found chrome plugs at Lowes that fit perfectly.
