What is the actual difference in holes for the King and Chopped? I was considering getting both pads and swapping them out for different occasions.

I'm having a friend paint match it to my bike and will see how that goes.
I will only be using it when my wife is on the back for more comfort for her.
I may look into getting a chopped lower at some point if needed.

I was looking at the chopped and king pack myself. Was leaning more towards the king for more comfort for my wife. She also likes to shop, so more storage. My wifes parents took our bike with just a backrest on a 2week cross country trip. They were so grateful that they bought us a king tp for xmas. We love it but now I'm thinking about ordering a chopped for my solo rides.

I vote for chopped all the way. Here is my road glide with a Matuza chopped back and pad. i went with the HD premium latches and hinges.

Great thread as I'm looking for a tour pak as well for my bike. Guy in my club just bought the $289 one off Amazon with the passenger backrest, so I may go that route as it's not bad for the money. He's got a total of $500 in it with the mount and luggage rack. I'm in no rush so would be nice to find an HD takeoff with lights in it for a decent price. I vote the King Pak, you can never have too much storage in my opinion.
