I put 2015 Road Glide wheels on my 2010 Ultra. The RG was a ABS bike and mine was not. You need to change the bearings. The ABS and Non-ABS bearings are different and you can have an Indy change them out for under 100.00.
I just had my Indy install an ABS wheel off of a '15 CVO StreetGlide on the front of my NON ABS '13 Roadglide Custom without any bearing change, the ABS wheel was slightly wider and more snug, but otherwise installed just fine. Have only ridden about 20 miles at hwy speeds and felt no issues or difference in handling vs the NON ABS wheel. What are everyone's thoughts on whether I should do the bearing change?
There is no difference in the wheel itself. I see no reason why you cannot run that wheel on a non abs bike. If you were doing the opposite then you would need to replace the bearing
I just put a abs enforcer on my non abs 08 street glide. I didn't change the bearing, I bought a spacer for the left side, from a guy on the forum here that was a direct "plug and play". I hated to take brand new bearings out for no reason. This was much much easier than changing bearings
Pm me if you're interested. I can get you in contact with him
on older bikes, you can change the front easily. just a bearing swap. however, the rear is the issue. your swingarm is not set up for a wheel/tire that wide.

Left ABS bearing is 3mm wider than a non-ABS bearing.Sure you can stuff the wheel between the forks but the problem is with the brake calipers being centered on the rotors.Do yourself a favor and have the left bearing swapped out and have the piece of mind the work is done correctly.
