I don't believe so, the bolt holes are a bit wider apart on the pre 14 and gap between the fender and fork is also different widths....
Here is a link to the Yaffe site that shows the 14-16 spacer adaptors http://www.baggernation.com/item.php?iid=205
I'll check it out thank you. I purchased a brand new 2016 OEM black fender for $375 on ebay I wanted a little more wheel showing. Hope I can get everything to work.

?
how is a stock fender going to show more wheel than a stock fender? they are basically the same, with just different mounting. and are not interchangeable.

I agree they'll be a hard fit, but I think the newer SG fenders have a slimmer profile to show those 19" wheels. Pre-09 fenders looks thicker in the profile and they had 16" wheels back then. The OP has an SG, so assuming he got the newer SG fender.

That's one of the 'features' that HD promotes on the newer bikes - front fender is different so you see more of the wheel...

I dunno. maybe it's just me, but I don't really see that the new fender is that much different than the old one. here's a pic of a 2013 cvo fender on my wife's bike, doesn't look much different than jjkrueg's..... now the difference between the cvo fender and the 'stock' fender is that the mounting of the fender sits about 3/4'' closer to the tire, so as not so much of that 'motorcross' fender look.
I guess if you wanted to show off your wheel more, going with a more streamlined fender (eg. klockwerks, etc) would be the way to do it. but sounds like you've already bought the new fender, let us know how you get on with getting it mounted. always great to see someone thinking outside the box.
