I don't think it sounds like a a bad deal, the Rinehart's alone are about $800. They did not make a Custom in 2001 so it has to be a Standard or a Classic. I found my '03 Road Glide for under $11,000, those deals don't come along every day. If he likes it it sounds like a decent deal with the miles as low as they are.

I would say that is a pretty good deal if he has reason to believe the bike has been well cared for. Service history would be a question I had. All in all that is a pretty decent price assuming the bike is in good shape.

sturgiskidd...for $11,500 I'd jump on it. I bought a '04 Road King Classic back in January with 20k-miles on it for $13,500 ($12,000 would have been a great buy), which was not a great buy, but it was o.k. If SoCal_Pappy can find any more "fair deals" at $11,500, I'd say buy everyone you can find and come to Florida and sell them at a $2000 profit. Going price for a decent HD bagger here in FLA is around $12,000 to $13,500, maybe it's different elsewhere.

JMHO, YMMV.
