Can't go wrong with either Hiilside or Fuelmoto, I am looking at doing something like 107" and nothing would make me hesitate to go with either..

I'm running the stock heads and a TW-555 cam. I got 106 hp / 121 tq. Your 105 - 110 hp goal is achievable w/o heads.

PS - Do the manual compression releases in the 2010 heads. Not absolutely necessary, but it helps with hot starts.

How sure am I about the FM107? I'm having another one put in my Road Glide this spring. That one will be a TW-999-6a cam and level B heads.

Good luck.
That's about the best recommendation one can get.

I second the FM build, espeically if you are looking for an all around bike, not just a drag-strip screamer. The FM build will purr all day long as well behaved as any stocker and then twist the throttle and it turns into Monsterbike. I'd suggest you get the AIM clutch to keep the clutch strong and pull easy.

That Cyclerama .575 has a TON of steam(almost 132 ft/lbs in the 110" drop-on build we were involved with) coming up thru to torque peak, and will make a touring bike feel very nimble, set up correctly, at ONLY 10.1:1 pump-gas, super-friendly cr.

if Hillside and FM were my two choices I'd use Hillside because I'm not a fan of Woods cams that FM primarily uses. The Cycle Rama CR 575 cam Scott mentions is a great cam , I have used it on several builds , it is a real torque monster and works great in touring bikes.

We appreciate the feedback on your current build on your Ultra and we really look forward to doing the new Fuel Moto 107 build on your Road Glide that's scheduled for April. Thank you for your continued business and support.

We enjoyed working with you on your build, you are one of those customers you simply cannot forget.

You said it best with your strong Boston accent "its wicked pissah awesome!"

Our 2010 96"s can be configured with the same automatic compression releases and adapted to the existing harness just like the 103's. There is a wire harness to buy. You will need to have a tuner that will allow you to turn them on. I am not 100% if the bike has to go into HD and be hooked to the digital technician or not.
I just did this to my 2010 FLHX and have a PCV and needed to take it to Harley to have the ECM flashed to turn on the automatic compression releases.

Hello,

Glad to see someone else go down this path.

I currently have a Power vision that has the ability to turn the ACR's on or off but reading the instructions for the wiring kit is was not clear if the ECM needed flashed/updated/calibrated by Harley first to enable that on/off function of the Power Vision to work. I have yet to find an answer to that. Any help there would be greatly appreciated.

Also the instructions make reference that if the update is not done prior to starting the motorcycle you could damage the ACR's.
