A year away
So I left my wife and two daughters for a tax payers paid trip to South Korea for a year. Y'all can probably figure I'm military. Obviously I miss my family more than anything but by god my mind is racing thinking about my Road King sitting in the garage all alone. Any one else every leave their bikes for a stint and find yourself looking at pictures, and longing to be in the wind?

Thanks for your service, and keep your head up. Nothing sucks like being overseas for long periods of time while life goes on back home.
As for your Road King, I didn't have my bike while I was in so I can't relate to that specifically. But, rest assured she misses you just as much and is waiting patiently for your return.

Yes....everyday. And that's from just being at work for the day. Couldn't imagine being gone for an extended amount of time. Thank you for your service and your sacrifices. My oldest son is leaving to go overseas this week as well. You'd think after a few deployments you'd get used to it but it's hard to watch your loved one leave for the unknown. Be careful and come home safe.
