Good deal RW.
You can find a cheap maintainer for less, but that one is great for features and dependability.

This is a good deal. Check with Delran if these are a closeout. Delran is revamping the line and I think the 3 is being replaced with a 5.

Good point, but - its better/faster than the one that I currently have, a junior, which is .75A, so I ordered one. w0oT.

The BT is an awesome deal...I might have to run over and get one too. Can always charge something w/it.

My bike has a battery tender quick connect on it from PO but I don't have the tender. Does anyone know if these Schumacher maintainers use the same quick connect plug or would I have to switch it.

The one I posted above does. Also has a few other attachments.

Just another FYI; the Schumacher Model 1562A at 1.5amp is plenty good for keeping a battery up and maintained. They're not that expensive ($26), and I've kept several of them on bike and car batteries non-stop for years. I several over time, but a few years ago, so I don't think I paid more than $20 for any of them.
I find that batteries last a whole lot longer when left on a good battery maintainer.
I don't know how much more sophisticated mine is compared to the less expensive one linked earlier, but I'd imagine that the basic tech is the same.

Schumacher is a drag racer, he has 6 cars in top fuel and funny car. He makes a lot of different chargers.
