What are monotones? Is this a suspension upgrade?
I think the front ride on my bike is stiff.

I just placed an order with Wily Shiny for chrome fork lowers. He had one set that had a very tiny mark near the caliper. Sold them for $145 and said if I didn't like them he would take them back.

I bought like new a 19" chrome agitator, agitator rotors, and Dunlop tire on this forum Friday for $635. Will get 1st shot at his matching rear wheel and tire once his new wheel is made.

Do I need seals or anything else for the lower replacement?
Part number for HD chrome uppers?

I see no price less than $170..... Plus you still need the cow bells, axle nuts, rotors....

Yes you will need new seals and fork oil. Get a fork rebuild kit and new chrome drain screws.

I polished mine while it was apart for fork oil change, Then again when installing Progressive Monotubes.
Not that hard to maintain between times when the wheel needs to come off anyway. Like changing a tire or rotors or wheel bearings. That said I may go chrome someday.

Chrome legs and cans, while it's taken apart why not add a flush mount axle, makes it looks a lot better.

No worries. You'll find this forum helpful and welcome from NC and to the HD club.

I think we know what an SGS looks like, but love to see your baby. We never get tired of seeing pics.
