Default Is my bike a "Power Pak" bike?

So I noticed in a forum members Sig line that his bike was a Power Pak optioned motorcycle. So I went and Googled Harley Power Pak and saw in 2011 when they upgrade the touring models to 103 inches, ABS and the alarm system, they called it a Power Pak upgrade. But other than 2011, I didn't find them using that lingo. So my question is, since my 2013 Anniversary Road King is optioned the same way with the 103, ABS and alarm, do I have the Power Pak option? Just kinda curious. Was that just a one year selling tool, has it just been phased out with the 103HO option, what is the Power Pak?

Please advise.

In 2011 the 103 was an option and HD called it the Power Pack option.

For 2012, the 103 became standard across the touring line. They just didn't call it the Power Pack option any longer.

Yes, I have a 2011 Power Pak Street Glide. I wish it hadn't included the security system.

My 2012 came with security - the dealer swapped the TSSM for a regular TSM and now it doesn't, you should be able to do the same... I do have the fobs etc in case someone wants to go back.

Essentially, you got the 'Power Pak' option. They were standard equipment on the '13 Anniversary Edition.

The Power Pak was an option, along with the 103 motor, on certain touring bikes in 2011. Then the cruise and security/ABS were separate options in 2012 when the touring bikes all had 103 motors. I got those options on my non-anniversary '13 King.

Hummm, thanks guys. It's always good to learn stuff about your bike. I had just never heard that term outside of like old Chevy and Mopar hot rodders, and was kinda intrigued.

Just curious why you wouldn't want the security system.

Oh, I can answer that one. Lots of people HATE the security systems because one, they drain the bikes battery, two, the fob batteries die and strand you unless you know the code (and most people don't). They also require presets when you tow or trailer the bike. Oh yeah, lots of folks hate the alarm. I love mine so far, but the FIRST time it screws me I will get all indignant and disable it. Cause that's how I am.... lol

What I LOVE about the alarm system is I can walk away with just the fob in my pocket, and not touch a thing, or lock or fiddle with anything, and even though some one can turn the key, they can't ride away. Like those ten million times I just hop off and run into gas station, supermarket, whatever. It's a nice feature when your in a hurry.

2011 THE 103 was standard on the Road Glide Ultra. It was an options on the rest.
2012 it became the standard.

All great info for sure. I love learning cool stuff about our bikes.

So, can I technically say my bike has the Power Pak option, or is a Power Pak bike? Or is that just plain incorrect?
