I bought a vest 2 days ago. Nice looking laced vest and it wears well. Wife saw me wearing it at work and said it I looked nasty in it. Hard core was the way she put it. I like it and will wear it around town, but jacket when on the highways.

RE: Leather Vests
I wear the leather vest under my leather jacket, and when it gets hot, go with just the vest. I prefer the vest over just a t shirt. When riding is just a t shirt, the wind will balloon up the shirt and makes me uncomfortable. Often slapping me in the face. I find with a vest on top, it holds the shirt down. I also have the vest extenders I put on the vest when it realley get warm. That way air can flow and my shirt still doesn't 'balloon' up. JMHO.

Guys
Wear All The Gear, All The Time! No matter how hot it gets. Just stay away from anything black in color.Your skin is not very thick and must last a life time. My intent is not to gross out any one. But I do learn from other people's mistakes. But the attached link does make me think that just plain jeans and a t-shirt may notbe enough. If this reply post is removed.I'll understand.
Ride Safe and Ride Often.
