Default Put 2015 SG wheels on my FLHRC now want tighter fender

When I bought the RKC a couple of years ago it was way to "blinged" for my taste so I have been slowly removing chrome pieces.

My last change was installing enforcer wheels from a 2015 street glide. I really like them but now I think the front fender looks too big for the 19" wheel up front. Is there another year front fender that will fit a little tighter? I have seen the klock werks fenders but boy are they pricey. I was hoping for something a little cheaper.

Thanks

Mark

I went the other way, I got bigger wheels to fill out the fender. You might try a higher profile tire, as HD put on a lower profile tire on the bigger wheels.

I just did the Russ Wernimott LS-2 on mine. Very high quality fender - no brittle fiberglass here. Thicker steel than factory. It actually handles slighty different now because the steel is so thick. Factory coverage of the tire that shows off a little more of the spokes.

I like that fender, especially with that wheel. Good job!

Check out a Fat Boy fender.

Just a suggestion.....

And to jayhawkclint--- how does a different fender affect the handling of a motorcycle?

Can you drill out new fender holes and drop it down some?
As someone said, maybe a larger diameter tire to help fill it out......

The LS-2 is really heavy gauge steel. I didn't realize how much heavier until I had the old fender off and lifted them side by side. Since it is bolted to the lower fork sliders, it adds to the unsprung weight. It's not an adverse affect, just something that was slightly noticeable at first.

Yes. The fender is open and it shows the chrome.

Default Nice

Looks great, is that a 19 or a 21?
