Default Your thoughts on 110 being stock on touring bikes.

I have a theory and wanted to see what you all thought.
I think in the near future the 110 will become stock on all touring bikes and the CVOs will get the 120.
Victory has a 106 in the touring bike, while Indian has a 111 in theirs.
What do you think? Old news?

It will be a 117. Remember you heard it here first.

I think your "theory" is little more than speculation. Sound good to me though!

Cool

We've been round this topic in here before, IIRC before the 2016 models were introduced! Those of us with aftermarket 107s are already there.....

110 or 103 is plenty fast and powerful for a bike, I think we're at the point now where "bigger and better" is just a marketing ploy.

Next time I upgrade it will be to a 124". Each of my performance improvements has resulted in yet another! There may be no end......

I am not so thrilled with the idea. They would cost way more and they run way more hotter.
Not a good idea.

Marketing drives sales more than engineering at most companies, very evident with Harley. It's easier to put more cubic inches in an engine than to design a smaller, more efficient engine, like the car companies finally did. Have to have something "new" to attract trade-ins and compete with companies that did do more engineering. Harley has been adding cubic inches for decades, why should it surprise anyone if they do it again?
