The "Pucks" refer to the bag lid ***** atop of the hard bags on police model Harley's. Stock, they look like a hockey puck. They are easy to open from either seated or dismounted with a simple twist, but can be seen as an eye sore. Some riders like them and leave em, I am looking to change them out.

you can do this swap with off the shelf parts from the dealer, or aftermarket hinges and latches.
but I guarantee you, nobody is looking at the pucks- I'm sure your bike is fine as is.
alot of us do envy the pucks, as the bags are perhaps easier to open.
so possible you could even trade your bags with someone else.

That's what I would do is trade your puck bags for someone's standard bags. People like pucks.

I recently bought a set of twincam Police bags for my older Evo Glide, despite the pucks! I also bought a set of flush mount buttons before realising they aren't exactly water-proof, unlike the pucks. So I dressed 'em up with chrome covers, to bring out the best in 'em! Pucks are perfect.....
