Soooo the build is getting closer.... Now I need to talk to Doug at HQ..... oops first write down what I want...

 

Karl, Just trying to keep up with PhilM's Wheelie. Not really just missed a turn and ended up in the ditch. Doing fine till I ran into a log covered by grass. Bike's not in bad shape, it will be ready to ride before I am. I don't think it's as bad as a hip replacement that a couple of our freinds have had.
Glad the build went fine but I would not expect anything less with the talented crew you had wokring onit.

I put some good miles on the new build today....taking it relatively easy, but can tell that at highway cruising she isn't breaking a sweat....got 40mpg on 160 miles of 65 to 75mph cruising this afternoon...not bad for tight rings and a borrowed map

Power is definitely up from my 88" build, but nothing over the top...we'll see what a good tune does

I'm using a map that Steve at AMS gave me....different cams and exhaust, but close to my build....works well enough for the break in period....I'd like to get a 1000 miles on her before the dyno work....we'll see

Mike, sorry to hear about your broken hip. That really sucks, but glad you will recover to ride again. If you need anything let me know.
