My brother laid his 2012 RG down a few nights ago, helping him gather parts for the rebuild. He needs a new inner fairing, over $700 at the stealer. I found a few listings on eBay for some Chinese knock off's made from ABS, they run about $315 shipped. Anyone have any feedback on these? I've already got him an OEM outer fairing, just need the inner. Thanks and ride safe!

... the outer is finicky enough to install, let alone install to some thing may be just a little off on it's own

 

There is a reason they sell that cheap. They are shop around for a used one take off .

 

Everything I have read on the knock-offs...mixed results, some find them to be great, some find them to be horsepucky. Everything from fit to finish seems to be a crap shoot.

 

I bought a Mutaza inner for a RG and liked the fit and finish. It came vivid black gloss which would have been nice but I had it painted Scarlett Red to match my paint set. I would say that brand is good quality from my experience.

 

I used these guys in Florida, but I swapped my stock one out for a painted one. Give them a call and see if they will send you one.
