Beach style bars on Batwing fairing
Hello everyone.
I know there is one good thread on this subject, but I am looking for more input and pictures. I contacted LA Choppers and the model they recommend for my FLHTP 2012 is the LA-7303-02. They will fit my Electra Glide with TBW throttle control. I had installed a set of 1-1/4 Wild1 14" mini apes on the bike 2 years ago and after a 2500 mile east coast tour, my wrists were killing me.
I always liked the beach comber look, and now I see that it may not look too bad on the Batwing. Just looking for more input Don

You say your wrist are killing you, I had the same issue with the wild one bars. The wrist angle on the chubbys are at 40* , try a bar with less wrist angle. I would recommend KST kustoms.

I just put a Memphis Shade on my 03 RK for the fall, bike has Wild One's 518's, and I didn't think it was to bad looking. Would take some pics, but just put the bike away today for the winter. Here's one in the garage prior to, not that great. I do love the bars though, they're very comfortable.

Imo the KST bars have a natural wrist position. I went from the WO 12.5 to the KST and glad I did. Give Brett a call he will answer all your questions.

Bars are always a coin toss, just like exhausts.
My local dealer keeps a sizeable used inventory, so I go through the warehouse til I find something that fits. Their parts manager has experience, and usually he can tell me what I'm looking at. Beats the guessing games!
Thought I'd go with Chubbys originally but after a walk through, found a set from LA Choppers that fit perfectly - never would've considered 'em if I'd shopped on line...
