Stretched bags recommendations

Are you just doing bags or adding a rear fender as well? I currently have Dirty Birds Top Shelf bags and fender seen on my signature picture. Most of the ones out there like Bad Dad, Fat Baggers, Top Shop, Voodoo, Paul Yaffe, Dirty Bird etc all make good quality products. Its just a matter of what you are willing to spend and styling.

I've been looking as well, I like the took of the longer custom 4.5" range bags but I don't want to have a bike that's scrapping all the time. It's not very reassuring when all these manufacturers sell "skid plates" for there bags. To me it's also a package look. If your going with long bags you need side panels or they look like a square block. Then it's like might as well do a stretched tank..... Damn... My 21" doesn't look quite right maybe a 23" or 26"? I love the look I just have mixed feelings. Kesean has the answer... 2 bikes!!! Tourer and a bagger.

Jmc22 has some nice quality parts there. I've been looking at that exact setup, minus the side panels. I'm pretty sure my wife would be pretty pissed about those side panels in her way. However jmc22 doesn't have rear pegs on his bike so I don't think he is worried about that. Looking at a 4.5" bag with a bike on its kickstand I'm not sure how easily they would drag but I'm sure they will sooner than later, which is the only thing holding me back at this point.
