68 deg. here in Southern Il. today. Going riding for sure. Normally the RK would be on the lift in the basement now. I've been waiting for a warm enough day to ride a little and change the oil. Today I'll warm her up for about 4 hours. Sorry Al, I still think you're full of it, but I do like the weather.

Same weather here in the Kansas City area. I've put on over 1,000 miles since December 1. Just a few short rides, though. Haven't gone far on any one day. 300 miles was my longest ride this month. I leave about lunch time and try to get home before well before dusk to avoid running into the frickin' deer that begin leaping all over about then. They are thick around here!

Still nice here too, but we've had some white stuff, and there's too much gravel on the roads now. A buddy was out a couple of weeks ago, slipped on some gravel rounding a corner, broke like 16 ribs. I think his bike is a writeoff. Too bad too, he just redid the engine last winter. At least he will be okay, and will be well enough soon to start the bike rebuilding process. I think this will end up a salvage title, but my guess is he'll own it until he can't ride anymore anyway.
