Price. Even if its $100 cheaper and still does the same job, that's where it goes.

I'd try both. I'm not big on audio so I ride a Road King. But if I was so inclined I would go with the Road Glide.

When I see the Police motorcycle handling courses I always see them riding Bat Wings, and they seem to be pretty responsive. Why not Sharks?

Harley offers three police models. The road King, the ultra classic and the touring Sportster 1200. All three come from the factory setup for police use. Feature not offered on the retail models. Harley would need to offer a police Road Glide for Police departments to consider them. Who knows, maybe in the future. They did build a police FXRT frame mounted fairing model back in the 80's if my memory is correct ( questionable ).
