Oil on rear head smells burned. Normal??

Hot climate?
We average, what, 20 degrees warmer in the summer than the Northerners?
20 degrees to a machine isn't squat.
How did the oil in the front head smell?
(You only have one oil bag..)

Front head was fine. On my PV monitor I saw about a 100 degree difference front to back.
