Default Road King Fairings

Been looking at fairings online and was wondering if anyone had any experience with Exile Motorsport fairings? Made of Fiberglass and look like their just a bit "bigger" as well. Also thinking that a 6x9 setup would sound or be better than a 4x5 setup...
I looked at Reckless as well as others but thinking I would like to add my own stereo/speakers/amp of my choice.

Also, is ABS just as good as Fiberglass fairings?? Only looking to spend around $700 tops on Fairing & stereo setup, I know I'll need to have paint done as well...thanks!

Which ever I choose, I will be adding a re-curve tinted shield from LRS, so hope they are compatible and not have to shave down shield on sides...

Another Woody's fan. Call Glenn, he'll advise you on what the fairing can handle for windshields.

It's gonna be difficult to get the stereo components for less then $750.00. A lot depends on the type of windshield you use, if you dress it up like a geezer glide with a tall shield it will dampen a lot of the wind noise, if you use a short screen like a klockwerx your gonna get a lot more.
It takes a lot of clean power to overcome the wind noise.

I hear you on that...It will be a winter project for me, looking back at reckless again. I like the Woodys, I will need to make a call and get a quote with the 6x9 setup. Want to hold on my budget and if it can't happen, I'll keep rollin without tunes...

I just bought a fairing for my Heritage from The USA Trailer Store. Short money and it looks pretty good! I'll post a thread when I finish the install, but for the price this can't be beat.

They make several models for Roadkings, temporarily out of stock but they should get more soon.
