Just got my Biketronics kit installed
The dealer just finished installing my Biketronics sound system.
Because they took more time than they quoted me the bill came to $700AUD but he only charged me $550 AUD which I thought was reasonable and decent. He took off the extra because he under quoted me originally and didn't think it fair to charge the full amount (for 5 and 1/2 hrs labour).
Overall I am happy with the sound system now - it is much improved over stock. I only need about 4 bars with the new system for the same volume I would get maxing out the stock system.
I'm glad I got the dealer to install it as it was not as simple a job as some might think - there was especially a lot of work in getting the fairing speaker mounts just right. Having the dealer do the install meant I had no 'headaches' - all I have to do is enjoy the system!
Overall I am happy with the investment. Might post a video of it when I get a round to it...

I hate to disagree but this is a very simple job. I just got done installing a full BT kit, including Kenwood head unit, 7.1 inch fairing speakers and new back speakers.
Biketronics makes the install very simple, the conversion cable is already setup for your specific bike. It is pretty much a plug-n-play system to install.
I just wouldn't want your post scaring people off from tackling this project themselves if they think they would like to try it. $400 US ($550 AUD) is a lot to pay for a 2 hour job.
Glad you got it installed and like it, I love the sound of mine!

I agree, it is a plug and play system. They are so easy to install, I did that in a few hours taking my time. I had to go through removing the tank and the fairing for the first time. I also had a amp to place, and a headunit, space is tight with all the other extra stuff I have in there.
