Did not like the HD shorty, only good for the good looks. Just replaced it with the SSC 11" from CeeBaileys.com, big improvement.

I was running an extra short windshield comparable to the MoCo's wind deflector. Not as cool looking as no windshield, but it was enough to keep the wind off ofmy chest and reduce fatigue at highway speeds.

Now I run the 4" shorter H-D shield for warmer weather ridesto getwind in the face with better protection than the deflector. I also have a standard height shield for cool weather and extended highway trips. The only time I'm windshieldless is around town.

Of all, the 4" shorter is my favorite since it gives decent protection without having to push something the size of a barn door down the road. Plus, if your concerned about looks, the 4" shorterlooks best in proportionto a RK, imo.

I have a short tinted one. I like the way it looks, but it works like crap at anything over 35. Wind coming off of it hits me right in the face and makes my Oakleys vibrate like a cheap mirror. SoI only use it around town.
