Default Any alternatives to Fuel Moto's 107 kit?

I tried to order Fuel Moto's 107 kit today, but apparently they don't have any Power commander 5 tunes available for my 15 street glide. I was told that they have tunes for a power vision, just not the power commander. My options are to buy a power vision for $500 or find another company that sells a complete 107 kit that has a pcv tune.

I really had my heart set on the FM kit, but I really don't want to have to spend $500 extra for the power vision.

Any suggestions?

Install the 107 from Fuel Moto. Take it and have it dyno tuned.

With a build like that I'd want a full dyno done. You can grab a base map from dynojet that should get you pretty close. Then have it dyno tuned locally. Should be plenty qualified tuners in your area.

Should run around $300

What compression, cams and exhaust are you going with?

10.5:1, 777 or 999-6a cams and exhaust is still up in the air. I was planning on d&d fatcat but that may change if I have to spent $500 on the PV.

Chiming in with what others have said..... Dyno tune it.

I just finished my build (FM 107") about 6 weeks ago, if that, and I cannot imagine NOT taking it to a good tuner. Call Dyno Jet; they WILL have a base map that they can send you to get you through your heat cycles, and then to your tuner.

Had you pressed Jaime a little further, even he would have told you that they like all of their kits to by tuned on the dyno once the build is finished. At least he did with me. Your build will not be complete without a good tune on the dyno, and you for sure want it COMPLETE after having spent anywhere from $1500-$2200 (provided you do the work yourself, and how extensive you go beyond just the BB itself) on the kit.

I went with the 107" kit and level B heads, and the end result is a truly different engine.

Good luck, and by all means, don't spend $500 you don't need to spend when you'll still want/need to put it on the dyno any way.

The plan was to get the tune from FM and use my auto tune to perfect the tune.

If I were you, based on location (and reputation), I would head up to New York and let Hillside do your build.

I'm guessing, however that you want to do the build yourself. Good for you if so - but I'd say the extra $479 is worth the money, its a great tool. Most builders will have a pretty good base map and you could auto-tune from there. But I agree, best to have it professionally tuned anyway.

Alternatively - however I cant speak for Jamie - if you bought the FM kit, I'm sure they'd work a good price on the PV into the deal, and I think they also give you some credit if you trade in your PC V.
